Lango
Hi, We are running Retrospect 7.7 (latest update) on a Windows 2003 server (32 bit, 4GB RAM) and the SQL agent. When I try to activate the license (Configure->Volumes) Retrospect just hungs. I don't think it's the actual activation that is the problem, but rather finding/adding the SQL databases which it is supposed to do just after activation. We are running SQL Server 2005. Anyone any ideas? Regards Ola Nigard
Mayoff
Is the SQL Server local to Retrospect or a client computer?
Lango
Yes, same server. I have found out that the SQL server produces lots of events. I heard that you have to set the SQL server databases to "auto close off", maybe this could be the problem for Retrospect?!
