latlet
Hi I'm trying to backup a Linux machine. I have many files spread around the file system that I want to backup. For ease of configuration, I created a directory which is the only being backed up and used symbolic links to point to what I want to backup. However, it backed up nothing. The Retrospect manual states that in Mac OS X, Retrospect follows symlinks. Is this not true in Linux systems? The system is Ubuntu 10.04 and the retrospect version is 6.1.
