sweetpea
I've used Retrospect as a trial since May 10, then bought it yesterday May 28. For about the past 2 weeks, each morning at exactly 9am, I receive a popup dialog which states: Retrospect Notification: You have not been backed up since Mon, May 10, 2010....Now that's the day I first installed it...but when I look at the backup logs and reports, everything shows that my nightly backups have been successfully run each night on the Mac side, and since I started backing up the Windows 7 virtual disk, on that side as well. I can't identify WHICH backup it is complaining about, nor how to fix whatever problem it is complaining about. Any ideas? Or should I simply ignore the message, since the backups are working successfully? By the way, the external harddrive that I'm backing up onto was ALSO backed up successfully about a week ago, so that isn't it either. Maser
It sounds like you may have also installed the *client* software on your machine, but you aren't using it. By default, the client software -- once installed -- will notify that the machine hasn't been backed up in 7 days. Might that be the case here?
