jouard
I've turned my Time capsule to an NAS server and can't seem to connect to it from within Retrospect. I got the ip address from airport utility 10.1.10.103 (pinged it just to make sure it was correct) used the following address format: smb://ip address/servername (smb://10.1.10.103/Godzilla) and got the error "This volume is unavailable" (the same problem when I used afp://) So I tested the address and got the message (can't find the requested responder (-530) ) The odd thing is when I type in the wrong password it tells me that "These credentials are not valid" Iam running Retrospect 8.1 on Mac OS 10.6.3 My time capsule verson is 7.4.2 I seem to be missing something - can you tell me what I'm doing wrong and how I can connect to this device so I can back it up.
