maryerik
Mac OS 10.5.5 server with Retrospect 6.1.13 4GB Ram regularly (daily) loses ability to "see" 100+ clients on WAN network being backed up(several subnets). I need to either restart Retrospect or log off and log back in for Retrospect to see clients on network and resume backup...error msg for the clients when trying to connect is: -3271 unknown... Is there anything I can do to either test and restart the app automatically or fix the network issue? Thanks! Mary

CallMeDave
I need to either restart Retrospect... Please explain. Retrospect 8 consists of two main parts; the Engine and the Console; which do you restart? or log off and log back in for Retrospect to see clients on network and resume backup. Please explain; the Retrospect Engine does not need to be running on the same machine as the Console; which do you log out of? error msg for the clients when trying to connect is: -3271 Where do you see the error? rhwalker
Mac OS 10.5.5 server with Retrospect 6.1.13 Mary, this is the Retrospect 8.x for Macintosh forum. The Retrospect 6.x for Macintosh forum is here: Retrospect 6.x for Macintosh forum I suggest that you repost in the right forum. Retrospect 6.x and Retrospect 8.x are very different animals, and help for one is not applicable to the other. Russ
