databuzz
I'm using Retrospect Professional v7.7.325 and trying to backup one Mac OS X client (10.6.3). I only want to backup their home directory (ie. Macintosh HD:Users:steve) and I have set the script selection criteria under the Mac OS X>Path option to only include the folder whose path matches Macintosh HD:Users:steve. When I run the backup schedule it goes through its normal motions but then stops quickly and says in the log that "No files need to be copied" but the user's home directory is around 20gb in size. Anyone know what I'm doing wrong? Thanks, Andrew
Maser
You might want to post this to the Windows forum. I've haven't used the Windows product in years, so I don't know if the scripting is the same as Retrospect 8. Does the Windows product allow you to make a "Favorite Folder" (or whatever it's called in the old product - subvolume?) of a client folder? That would probably be easier and faster to do so you don't have to scan the entire Mac hard disk and *then* apply the script selection.
