oranges2apples
Hello, I use the little setting within prefrences of Retrospect 8 which sends emails for successful events or for failure and media requests. This works great for us, and I get an email everytime. However, I'd like to email multiple people. I found out that I can do this by typing "email1@domain.com, email2@domain.com" and Retrospect sends the email to both parties perfectly. But when I close the Prefrences dialog, it deletes the ", email2@domain.com" part of the string. Is there a way to have Retrospect send the same email to multiple destinations within Retrospect itself? Thank you, -Jess

GMRMacBackup
If you need this functionality right away I would suggest having your IT group set up a distribution list then point Retrospect towards that. If you do not have an IT department you could still have it sent to yourself and use an incoming rule to relay it to others. I am anxiously awaiting the next update. I know EMC has received a long list of bugs, would be nice to see which ones have been eradicated. Hope this one makes the list too.
Mayoff
We tried to reproduce the problem with the next version and everything seemed to be working. Please try the beta when it is released soon.
oranges2apples
Yeah, I've considering setting up a group for this, but I've chosen against it so far primarily because it's not an absolute necessity at the moment. However, your statement about setting up a rule on the client side is a great idea that I hadn't thought of. I may just wait until the new release is out though as it appears to have been taken care according to Mayoff's response. It's not absolutely urgent like I said, just would be nice to email someone other than myself in case there is a problem with the backup that requires attention and I'm not available immediately to resolve the issue.
