Daniels
While the backup was scanning a Mac client during the backup last night I had a very strange thing happened. When I checked the client this morning the computer had no notice about being backed up so I checked the client and it was set to off. When I checked the log on the Retrospect it started scanning the client but then threw the following "scanning incomplete, error -519 (unknown)" and then continued through the rest of clients just fine. It seems that while scanning the client Retrospect somehow set the client to Off. This client does occasionally go into kernel panic or freezes during backup due to a bad file but I have never had Retrospect actually turn off the client. I have already verified and repaired permissions on the client. If anybody else has experienced this behavior or know why it would happen any information would be greatly appreciated.
