pbartoli
I'm trying to understand how proactive backup works. I set a proactive backup script that is programmed to work during mid-day break. Does it mean that the proactive backup works exacly in this timeframe or that during this period it goes around the network to check for clients in need of backup and then programs the backup execution sometime else during the day? This is not what I'd like to...

Maser
8.1.626 may have issues with scheduling proactive backups this way, but *conceptually* -- you have it right. If your proactive backup script is only active for a specific time range, it would only attempt to backup those clients during that time range. It would not backup clients outside of the time range.
