dbakerstl
We are moving around how we are storing user documents, and in the process our backups are growing at an enormous rate. Is there any way to: * Remove backups older than 2 years? * Move chucks of the data in the sets that are in the old locations to an archive? That is still restorable. Thanks, Dan
rhwalker
Yes. Do a "Transfer" from one backup set to another (new backup set), with a selector that filters out what you want to transfer. After you are convinced that you got the right stuff, delete the older backups (recycle, etc.). See the index for the User Guide for the discussion. I'd provide you with the exact page, but you haven't provided any version information, so I can't point you to the right portion of the manual.
