pphelps
It has never worked for me. I am using 7.7.208 on XP64. I have the correct proxy information entered under preferences/updates. I have retrospect listed as an exception to the firewall. When I try to do an update it immediately gives me the message about not being able to connect. Interesting, if I tell Retrospect not to use a proxy, when I try to do an update the progress bar starts to move but then it still gives me the "could not connect" message. I am able to browse the web from this server.
