MKraus3145gmail.com
I have Retrospect Profesional for Windows V 7.7.203(64 bit). I am trying to update to 7.7.208. I have downloaded file. When I try and install, I get the following message in the Retrospect 7.7 InstalShield Wizzard...File in Use. Some Files need to be updated are currently in use. The following applications are using files that need to be updated by this setup. Close those applications and click retry. Retrospect Launcher (Process Id 2924). I can't get past here. I don't know what to close. How do I proceed? Please email me reply at MKraus3145@gmail.com. Thanks, Matthew Kraus
Mayoff
I would exit all copies of Retrospect, download the update released today and try again. http://www.retrospect.com/updates
MKraus3145gmail.com
I have closed out of Retrospect and this time tried installing 7.7.325. Still get the same error message. Is there some part of retrospect running in background. I have closed the retrospect program as best as I can tell. Help please. Mayoff
Check the task manager and force quit if needed and retrospect processes.
MKraus3145gmail.com
I need a little guidance here with Task manager. When I open it, under the Application tab, Retrospect does not show up under applications so I can't end task here. When I look under the Processes tab, I see nothing that remotely looks like a Retrospect file. Under the Seervices tab, I see RetroLauncher and the status is Running. When I right click on it and choose stop service, I get a message which says unable to stop service. This operation could not be completed. Access is denied. Help please.
