MRiley
I had to do a disaster recovery of Windows XP (Media Edition) with SP3 installed. Running Retrospect version 7.0 Now the "Helper Services" notification window comes up every time the machine boots. The first two boxes are checked but the "Meta Data" box is not checked and the application does not seem to be running. I can close it using the Task Manager. To disable it I unchecked the application using MSCONFIG. But that can't be the "right" way to do it. What is the "proper" way to either get it to finish or stop it from launching every time the machine boots ?? Hope someone can help.
