jlbrown
One of my client backups had issues, so I deleted it's members and was going to add a new one to the media set. When I try to add a new member I get a red "An error occurred" above the Add button. Going into Console I see: 19/03/10 9:46:18 AM Retrospect[1011] BackupSet::setBackupSet exception: {CDB Backup} Bad Passowrd or Other Access Failure So first of all I'd like to let you know about the typo in the error message! Any ideas how to change the password - it doesn't ask me for one? Trying to add it from the Repair Disk Media Set doesn't work either. Thanks, James. Mayoff
Have you tried the unlock button under Media Sets?
CallMeDave
One of my client backups had issues, so I deleted it's members and was going to add a new one to the media set... What was your reasoning behind this? That's (sort of) like saying "Some of my shopping bags were torn, so I threw away the bags (and their contents) and went into the store for some more" It's not really clear what steps you are taking, where your Members are stored, if you made changes to files or folders directly on the storage location, what you did in in the Retrospect Console, etc. You may have found a software defect, but it's also possible that you're simply doing something wrong. More detailed, specific information is needed.
