scsctech
I have 4 media sets on 4 different partitions of my RAID. I like to keep them balanced so that they complete close to the same time and take up equal storage space. I want to move one client from set A to set B. Naturally I can just uncheck that client in script A and check it in script B. My question is how do I get rid of the residual backups that were already completed on set A? Will they be automatically removed when the set is groomed?
Maser
Lots of questions, but: 1) To move backups from one set to another, you can use a "copy backup" script. 2) Past Backups will not be groomed out automatically -- even with the Retrospect policy. You'd have to manually remove the Past Backup and then run a groom.
scsctech
10-4 I see the function in past backups to delete now. Thanks!
