AmyJ
There are many DLT1 drives on the market. Please be more specific about which one you are referring to. For a list of qualified drives, you can also check the hardware search engine: Hardware Search Enginecolor=blue>
Rooo
Sorry, my drive is supposed to be a Quantum 40/80 scsi. Part#: BH1AAYF But it shows in my scsi probe as Benchmark.

Rooo
I'm still having trouble gettring my DLT1 driver. I loaded the 1.8 upgrade from the site and I still get "no driver" in my device status. According to your hardware compatability list, my Benchmark DLT1 is supported, any suggestions? I'm using Retrospect 4.3.
AmyJ
Check the Operations Log to ensure that the driver is actually loading. This will be indicated by an entry right after Retrospect launched... Which version of the Retrospect Driver Update is listed in your log?
Rooo
The operations log reads, driver update: version 2.3.101 Is there anything else that should load?
AmyJ
This drive requires the Advanced Driver Kit (ADK) 1.8, which is different then the Retrospect Driver Update (RDU). The ADK was a separate $150 purchase for the higher end tape drives. If you have previously purchased the ADK, and are using a version prior to 1.8 you will find the 1.8 ADK updater in the Extras folder of the Retrospect 4.3 folder, or on the 4.3 CD itself. This updater will update any previous version of the ADK. When properly loaded, the Operations Log will show the ADK listed as it does the RDU. If you do not currently own the ADK, you will need to purchase it through Customer Service, or upgrade to Retrospect 5.0. Retrospect 5.0 for Macintosh does not require the Advanced Driver Kit.
