chuckie3
I'm in the process of evaluating Retrospect for our site, and recall reading somewhere that Dantz is working on a 'brick by brick' restore feature for their Exchange Agent. This would allow the restoration of a single mailbox or email, without restoring the entire database. Any idea if this is true or when this feature will be released? Mayoff
We are working on new features for the Exchange Agent. The feature set has not yet been finalized. We do not expect to release this newer version until later this year.
RudeAwake
I evaluated Retrospect and Exchange Agent over a year ago, and also heard that I'd be able to restore a single mailbox or email. Any updates on this brick by brick feature yet? I now own ver 5.6 Server.
Mayoff
Dantz is currently in Beta on a version of Retrospect with much more advanced exchange features. When that version is available, we will let everyone in the forum know.
RudeAwake
This beta that's being worked on, will I (as a 5.6 Server user) be able to download it for free as a patch/update, or is it a new product that I'd have to buy?
Mayoff
The version we are working on is a major upgrade to Retrospect. Pricing and upgrade paths have not yet been determined, but it is expected to be a paid upgrade.
