khiattjr
I had a 750GB HD, and used Restrospect 7.6 to backup to two 300GB hard drives. When one HD was full, the backup would continue on the other drive. The 750GB HD failed catastrophically, so I replaced it, and reinstalled Windows XP and Retrospect 7.6. Since my Retrospect Catalogs were on the failed hard drive, I need to Recreate my catalogs from the backup data on the two hard drives, and this is where it gets confusing... I first tried to Recreate the catalogs using the All Disks option, which took nine hours. I woke up this morning to find a dialog window asking if I wanted to Save or Revert (Save and discard the rest of some data, or Revert to the old data...something like that). I'm not sure exactly what that means. I just want to restore all of my data as it existed the evening before the hard drive failure. Any suggestions?
