tkosel
I am getting this error during backups. I tried the fixes referenced in this MS KB article. http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;304101 It didn't work. First of all, the article alludes to Server 2003 and I am experiencing it with a XP client. One of the posts suggested modifying the registry on the client, but the article doesn't refer at all to XP. In fact when I try those fixes on my client, it screws up all the MS Office applications for that client, word doesn't work and excel doesn't work either. I am running Server 2003 running Retrospect, and an XP Client. I think the backup is working OK even though I get the error. See the log below. 12/16/2009 10:21:19 PM: Connected to P133 * Resolved container P133 to 1 volumes: Local Disk (C:) on P133 - 12/16/2009 10:21:19 PM: Copying Local Disk (C:) on P133 - 12/16/2009 11:23:25 PM: Verifying Local Disk (C:) on P133 - 12/17/2009 12:36:20 AM: Copying Local Disk (C:) on P133 File "C:\WINDOWS\PCHEALTH\HELPCTR\DataColl\CollectedData_76616.xml": can't read, error -1101 (file/directory not found) File "C:\WINDOWS\PCHEALTH\HELPCTR\DataColl\CollectedData_77475.xml": can't read, error -1101 (file/directory not found) File "C:\WINDOWS\PCHEALTH\HELPCTR\DataColl\CollectedData_77477.xml": can't read, error -1101 (file/directory not found) File "C:\WINDOWS\PCHEALTH\HELPCTR\DataColl\CollectedData_77479.xml": can't read, error -1101 (file/directory not found) File "C:\WINDOWS\PCHEALTH\HELPCTR\DataColl\CollectedData_77481.xml": can't read, error -1101 (file/directory not found) File "C:\WINDOWS\PCHEALTH\HELPCTR\DataColl\CollectedData_77483.xml": can't read, error -1101 (file/directory not found) File "C:\WINDOWS\PCHEALTH\HELPCTR\DataColl\CollectedData_77485.xml": can't read, error -1101 (file/directory not found) File "C:\WINDOWS\PCHEALTH\HELPCTR\DataColl\CollectedData_77487.xml": can't read, error -1101 (file/directory not found) File "C:\WINDOWS\PCHEALTH\HELPCTR\DataColl\CollectedData_77489.xml": can't read, error -1101 (file/directory not found) File "C:\WINDOWS\PCHEALTH\HELPCTR\DataColl\CollectedData_77491.xml": can't read, error -1101 (file/directory not found) File "C:\WINDOWS\PCHEALTH\HELPCTR\DataColl\CollectedData_77493.xml": can't read, error -1101 (file/directory not found) File "C:\WINDOWS\PCHEALTH\HELPCTR\DataColl\CollectedData_77495.xml": can't read, error -1101 (file/directory not found) File "C:\WINDOWS\PCHEALTH\HELPCTR\DataColl\CollectedData_77497.xml": can't read, error -1101 (file/directory not found) File "C:\WINDOWS\PCHEALTH\HELPCTR\DataColl\CollectedData_77499.xml": can't read, error -1101 (file/directory not found) File "C:\WINDOWS\PCHEALTH\HELPCTR\DataColl\CollectedData_77501.xml": can't read, error -1101 (file/directory not found) File "C:\WINDOWS\PCHEALTH\HELPCTR\DataColl\CollectedData_77503.xml": can't read, error -1101 (file/directory not found) File "C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\CONFIG\systemprofile\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Windows\UsrClass.dat": can't read, error -1020 (sharing violation) File "C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\CONFIG\systemprofile\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Windows\UsrClass.dat.LOG": can't read, error -1020 (sharing violation) File "C:\WINDOWS\Temp\Perflib_Perfdata_6f4.dat": can't read, error -1020 (sharing violation) Can't back up registry, error -1019 (not enough resources) 12/17/2009 1:56:43 AM: Snapshot stored, 24.4 MB 12/17/2009 1:57:05 AM: 3 execution errors Remaining: 19 files, 1,267 KB Completed: 71088 files, 29.9 GB Performance: 232.8 MB/minute Duration: 02:29:05 (00:17:54 idle/loading/preparing) Perhaps I don't even need to worry about it, it seems as if the backup is working, Lots of stuff gets backed up. I just would like to remove the error. Any ideas?
