robvil
Hi, 1. I´m trying to get access to the recovery cd download image, but it does not accept my licenskey. I have tried with my 7.5/7.6 licens key and my ASM licens keys. None of them is accepted. So how do we download? 2. When we do the upgrade from 7.6 to 7.7 will it be possible to revert back to 7.6 as long as we not have made any backup to the disk backup sets? Regards Robert
Mayoff
You will need to get a 7.7 license code from customer service. Yes, you can revert from 7.7 to 7.6 if you needed to do that.
robvil
Thank you. "You will need to get a 7.7 license code from customer service." I will contact customer service. "Yes, you can revert from 7.7 to 7.6 if you needed to do that. " Just to be sure - I can revert back as long as I have no changes to my backup sets with 7.7? As soon as I make changes to backup sets with 7.7 they are unusable ny 7.6? Robert
Mayoff
I think you can even write to the backups with 7.7. The media format has not changed.
robvil
from the readme: Older Backup Sets: If you are an upgrade customer, you can use your older Backup Sets with Retrospect 7.7. However, once you use a Backup Set with Retrospect 7.7, you can no longer access it from earlier versions of Retrospect. I will rearly like 100% if it´s possibly to downgrade.
