Antti
Hi, Getting error "can't read, error -1019 (not enough resources)". This only happens with two large files (32 GB, 12 GB). The file server is 2003 R2 with 4 GB of RAM. Is this a Retrospect problem? How to correct this?

Lennart_T
(5) complete description of the steps you are doing [color:blue]None so far. So you haven't scheduled any kind of backup and no immediate backup and yet you get errors? You must do SOMETHING! OK, so now there is (at least) one client involved. Which version of the client software? How much free space on the C: drive? OK, back to the Retrospect server: What kind of backup set? Can you post the relevant parts of the backup log?
jgowing
It is not really a problem, it is side effect of how Open file backup works This usually occurs with large files when Open File backup is enabled. Retro needs to make a snapshot of the file and there is not enough disk/memory space to accomodate this. Options may include:- Create a separate backup for these files without Open File if possible Increase resources Ensure there is at least 20% free disk space on the volume

That does seem like a probable cause for this behaviour. Thank you for your answer!
