Is anybody else seeing proactive clients repeat their backups?

This could be a "just me" problem (maybe related to a corrupt config80.dat file), but...

Over the past few days, I've had some proactive clients back up more than once a day (script is set for the default "1 days")

The client is not triggering this. And it's not limited to Mac clients (I first noticed this with some Windows clients.)

I'm just curious if anybody has seen anything similar recently on a 10.6.2 box. Perhaps after the installation of Safari 4.0.4?

I've got the same issue. A proactive script that runs "every 1 day" which actually runs about three times a day. It's set to run between 9am and 5pm. It's a new server (unlimited Mac version, all updated), server itself runs the newest 10.5 on a Mac Mini (Intel).

Both Mac and Windows clients with issues here. Hopefully there will be a patch.

I believe Robin posted in another forum that this is some rare engine bug.

I've recreated a clean config file (and moved back to 10.5.8 with all the updates inc. Safari 4.0.4) and haven't seen this.

I can't rule out a corrupt config80.dat file, I guess, but there's nothing *visible* that would indicate why things would repeat the backups.

Do NOT have this problem on a small-ish group of two clients (all on latest Snow Leopard), and all with Safari 4.0.4 (6531.21.10) on them and with a good install of 8.1.626 engine on a Mini running 10.5.8, and same version of Safari browser on it. My Proactive script is set to execute 1x daily 'every day of the week' during certain limited hours.

I also run a non-proactive script for my desktop client again within similar limited hours and do NOT see multiple runs of backup there.
