buachille
I have Retrospect 7.6 installed in Windows 7 64 bit and so far it's working fine, but I'd feel more comfortable with a version that is certified for Windows 7. Can we expect this to be released anytime soon?

dnpeters
I've upgraded both my Vista and XP computers to Windows 7 (Home Premium 32-bit), and after a few glitches reinstalled 7.6. I've now run two backups on each, and everything "seems" normal. I'm aware of the problem with the DR feature in 7.7, and understand there may be a different GUI. Until then, however, is there any problem or reason why the 7.6 backups I'm presently making will be problematic? Thanks. - Dave
Mayoff
The restore of the OS is the only big issue. Some users have reported trouble doing open file backup from windows 7.
dnpeters
Thanks - I'm sure you know that the MS Startup Repair feature that's giving you stomach acid isn't available to those of us in the "cheap seats" (Home Premium 32-bit). Good luck. - Dave
