DaveBenton
I have just had my latop rebuilt following a virus attack. I have several restore points on a network disk but now that I have reinstalled Retrospect HD 2.0 the restore option cannot see the restore points. The network drive is mapped on the laptop. I have followed the instructions for disaster recovery. I thought that this was the very thing that the software was supposed to be good at. Any ideas please. LarryK420
Dave- I had a similar problem with HD (and Professional for that matter) when I attempted to Catalog Rebuild then Restore. Apparently there is a known bug that affects LAN connected drives when attempting Catalog or Restorals. I could see the the backup files when using Windows Explorer, but when I used either retrospect platform, all I could see is the folders, not the files. Try connecting the USB cable between your PC and the external drive (your PC should create a new drive letter), then attempt the Restore pointing Retrospect to this new drive letter. It worked for me. See my recent post "Unable to Catalog Rebuild". Larry
