squeezixmud
Hello, forum. I have run the "Immediate Duplicate" feature with the "Replace if soure is newer" option. Retrospect 7.6.123. I selected a destination: c:\. This seems to have caused corruption of the Windows installer. I cannot start the Installer service, remove programs using the "Add/Remove Programs" of Control Panel/System and the paging file has been removed. In addition, when accessing the retrospect client (7.5) from the retrospect server, the volumes will not display. The connection to the WindowsXP computers is established but selecting "Volumes" will not display the c: drive and just hangs until I turn the Windows XP client off. Any information on the "Duplicate" feature in addition to the turorial would be appreciated. I have performed the procedure on two Windows XP computers (duplicating from a Windows 2008 storage device) and have corrupted both WindowsXP systems. Thanks Squeezixmud
