Retrospect 7.6 : error -116 volume doesn't exist

Can anyone explain why I am getting error -116 ???

I had retrospect 7.6 running every night on my PC for months without any issues. :content:

However my backup NAS drive (WD MyBook 1TB) died due to some fault on the main PCB, the drive is ok. :cryy: It put the drive into a new PlusCom drive enclosure, reformated and NAS is backup up again.

Having lost all my old backups I setup new backup sets on the NAS so that the backup scripts would start new backups on the next run.

However I got error "-116 volume doesn't exist" for the first two times my first backup ran. There does not appear to by any documentation of this error message so I don't know its cause. ???

The NAS drive continues to run fine and is not offline after the error occurs.

The error seems to occur after a few hours of succesfull running.

After three runs the backup finaly commpleted. See log below.

Since I have some much even bigger backups (~300GB) schedule for this weekend how many runs will be required I wonder.
