emcmurry
Is there any way to have a copy (duplicate) backup preserve the dates on files it copies over? I was not expecting it to change all of the dates and I can't find an option for this.
Mayoff
Retrospect always maintains the file dates. If dates are lost it could be a file system issue. What is the copy destination?
emcmurry
oops, this was my bad. I traced it down to an error introduced at some point into my shell's rc file. I was getting ls results that had a '-c' in them showing the date of the last operation on the file instead of the modification date. The dates on the duplicates look fine. Sorry about that.
