bnorthlich
newbie question = The source picker mechanism will let one pick any available network volume in windows, not just machines with the retro. client installed. Should one do this? What about "open file" consistancy, etc. Thanks /b
AmyJ
Retrospect cannot backup the Registry, NTFS permissions or any system state information through Windows Networking. You may also run into network permissions issues when accessing remote volumes in this manner. The Retrospect client can fully backup and restore a network client - including the Registry, permissions and system state information.
