VSilver
My MacBook hard drive failed during daily archive backup. (Don't know if I will be able to recover the data from the failed drive. The internal hard drive has since been replaced and system reinstalled.) In trying to restore files from the backup set on external Iomega HD, I see it has has 45GB of data in it, and the catalog is also there, but the snapshot brings up 0 files to restore (presumably because of the failure during backup execution). Rebuilding the catalog did not work - still no files in the snapshot. Is there any way to get to the data in the backup set, even if from a previous day? Thanks for any help. twickland
Perform an Immediate Restore/Restore files from a backup. When the snapshots window appears, click on "Add Snapshot." This will enable you to browse and retrieve an earlier snapshot from the backup set media.
