learner
I am evaluating Retrospect 6.0 Professional with Windows XP. I sucessfully prepared a duplicate of my hard drive on an external firewire hard drive. Next I was trying disaster recovery. I made a backup to DVD+RW and followed the Wizard instructions to make a bootable CD. Instructions were to burn the file to a CD. What I don't understand is that my CD image file is 994 MB and, of course, this greatly exceeds the capacity of a CD. What am I doing wrong? AmyJ
When the Disaster Recovery process asks for the I386 folder, do you use the one on your hard drive, or the one on your system CD? Try using the folder from your Windows installer CD and see if the .iso image file becomes more manageable.
