Hyoushi
I'm running Retrospect 6.1 on a 10.4.11 machine hooked up with a PCI Atto SCSI card to a HP Ultrium 8-slot autoloader. I've been running 6.1.138 for quite a while without any major issues. Last week I updated to a new driver update, went from 6.1.13.101 to 6.1.15.101, and updated the Retrospect build from 6.1.138 to 6.1.230. Since then I've gotten error 205:s two days in a row. #1 occurrance was on the first tape and #2 was on tape three. Nothing has changed with the hw setup, so it seems like the driver and build update brought this error along. I have an installer saved to go back to 6.1.138, but is there any way of rolling back the driver update?
rhwalker
but is there any way of rolling back the driver update? Just replace the Retrospect Driver Update with the older version. Links to all the older versions are here: RDU version history Are your ATTO driver and firmware up-to-date? Russ
