Guest
I'm currently using Retrospect 5.6 Desktop on a Win98 machine to backup files from that machine and five other networked PCs. I want to install Win2K on that machine (clean install, not upgrade), but I want to be able to preserve all of retrospect's settings (all the scripts, snapshots, catalogs, everything). Is there a feasible way of doing this?
Guest
Your scripts, License code, client logins and more are stored in your config file, called config55.dat and located at C:/Program Files/Dantz/Retrospect. Replace this file in the new installtion to regain all this. You'll also need to move your catalog files. The User's Guide has full details on how to do this. You may download this from the Dantz website.
