Retropunk
I am testing out Retrospect 6.0 for the first time. It seems pretty intuitive. The folder I am backing up is about 8 gig and will span over many discs. When I try to use the backup or archive feature, the program seems to stop after only about 110 megs. It doesn't freeze my system or stop responding. It just seems to stop backing up. Any ideas out there? I am using a qualified CDRW Yamaha 2200E on Windows 2000 Pro. Mayoff
Do you get any error messages? Are you able to click "Stop" without ending task? I would start with a different brand of media. Try some TDK.
Retropunk
I didn't get any errors and I am using TDK. I also can stop the program without having to end task. The programs just seems to stop adding files after about 30 seconds or so.

futuritysoftware
I believe that on the demo, it limits the data backed up.
