pennwell
We have just set up an iMac, running 10.4.11, and installed Retrospect Backup version 6.1. This is to replace a dilapidated Mac OS 9 machine that had Retrospect 5. We understand that we won't be able to add backups to the old catalog files. That's ok, because all we want to do is be able to read the old catalog files to restore old data. Unfortunately we haven't been able to get the new Retrospect to open the old files. When we go to open them they are grayed out in the open dialog box. Any suggestions? ...Ron
rhwalker
Retrospect 6.1 unable to restore older backups Seems to be a bug introduced with 6.1 because the Read Me (release notes) specifically says that Retrospect 6.x can read (but not update) older backups.
