lilliana
In my tray I get a note that says "you have files waiting to be written to the CD." When I click on the balloon, I see the following: Backup Set C.RBC (4 kb file) Restore Drive C.iso (1.3 gb file). Some time ago I inadvertantly deleted some files, and think that they may be in the larger file. I thought about clicking on Restore Drive C file to get the deleted files back, but from the name, I'm afraid that it'd delete/overwrite all the files currently in my C drive rather than copying over to my backup hard drive. Will that happen, or will it write to my backup hard drive? How can I see what files are in this Restore file? Thanks for any help you can give. Mayoff
The message being reported is coming from Windows and is not directly related to Retrospect, although it appears you are trying to burn some Retrospect files using Windows explorer. lilliana
Robin, do you know what the file will write to if I click on it? If it overwrites my C drive, it's a disaster. However, if it either overwrites or adds to what's on my backup G drive, no problem.
