mwbronson
Hello, I verify all of my backups. If a backup is interrupted because of a network failure or the operator stops the backup, does the verification of the previously backed up data occur, or is it forever not verified? As an example, you get through 75% of a backup, the network connection fails, and the operator restarts the backup. Does Retrospect verify 100% of the backup or just the 25% that backed up after the restart? If it doesn't verify the entire backup, will the next version have this feature? Thank You! Mayoff
If the backup stops, the Mac product does not continue the verification. You can manually verify the media from the tools menu. Retrospect X will include MD5 verification that will allow verify after the fact...even on a schedule.
