brentsallee
My client has been running Retrospect 6.1.126 with a Exabyte tape backup solution for a couple years. When I logged into their server this morning I was greeted with the following error. Sorry, can't open the Retro.Config (6.0) file, error -24205 (chunk file damaged during save) (OK BUTTON) I have hit OK and tried to restart Retrospect - no avail. I have uninstalled the reinstalled Retrospect - no avail. I have not restarted the machine yet. I am not sure what this means or how to repair/replace it. Thank you for any help you can offer. Regards, Brent ---------- Mac OS X Server 10.5.5 Retrospect 6.1.
Mayoff
This file is corrupted. It is found in the root library/preferences/Retrospect folder. I would suggest moving the folder to the desktop and opening Retrospect again.

tzm
I hadn't any trouble with Retro remotes ever turning themselves off until I upgraded to the current version... both the App and the Client (6.2.229). Since then, I have downgraded the remote back to 6.1.130 and for the most part, things are back to normal. Todd
