Sorry to bug you about this.

 

Does this:

[color:blue]If the disk has enough space available, keep the last backup of each source for every day in the last week, for each week in the last month, and for each previous month, in that order. At a minimum, for each source, retain the last backup performed each day for two most recent days[/color]

 

Mean this?:

For each source delete the oldest snapshots as needed to make room for new snapshots. At a minimum, retain the last two snapshots of any given source

It will always keep as many spanshots as possible. If you run super low on disk space, it will try to keep at least 2 snapshots for each source disk. It if can't even keep 2 copies of each source, it will ask for a new disk.
