joenashville
hi, I'm a newbie. Each of my scripts backs up a client-group to a single backup set. For example: client-group A (clients: a1,a2,a3) is backed up into backup set A by script A. Simple, yes? Problem is, apparently, I mistakenly added client b1 to client-group A, saw my mistake and then removed it from the group. Yet, client b1 still gets backed up into backup set A. Even though it's no longer in client-group A. How to fix?
Mayoff
Make sure the "source group container" is not included in your group.
joenashville
Delete the source group container from the group? Huh? The source group containers are automatically created as the only "member" of any new group. I can just delete them willey-nilley? Are they potentially useful? Mayoff
"source group container" should never be included in your custom "source group". That would cause all source groups to be contained in all source groups.
