Mayoff
I don't understand your question. Retrospect functionality has not changed since 7.
phaz
Sorry for not making myself clearer. If I bu a file called paper.doc why can't I see it in the source directory called paper.doc. Thanks phaz
Mayoff
If you can not see a file in the source directory, then that file is probably hidden. Maybe the following items will help you: source In a backup, duplicate, or archive operation, the volume from which files are copied. In a restore, the Backup Set from which files are copied. destination The storage medium to which files are being moved, copied, or otherwise transferred. When backing up or archiving, the destination is a Backup Set. When restoring or duplicating, the destination is a volume Backup vs Duplicate: http://kb.dantz.com/article.asp?article=1061&p=
