krybka
I just upgraded from 7.5 to 7.6. All PC's, including one running Retrospect, are running XP. Now Retrospect can't find the clients and therefore can't be updated. Did I miss something? Thanks, Ken

krybka
Do you mean did I upgrade Retrospect to 7.6 on the server? Yes. The clients are listed but be connected to. Ken
krybka
Found the problem - the firewall on the server had an exception for "Retrospect" but an exception for "Retrospect 7.6" is required! Ken
blm14
Yes I came across this problem and reported it to retrospect already. When you upgrade to 7.6 DO NOT USE THE INCLUDED .RCU FILES TO UPGRADE THE CLIENTS! On macs it will break where you have to go and uninstall the 6.2.229 client (or go back to the 7.5 server and re-add them) and on PCs it breaks the firewall exception. I am quite frankly kind of surprised that there has not been an announcement about this.
