dmorel
Hi everyone, I juste setup a new LTO4 robot for a customer and I have some backup speed problems. The server is running [color:brown]Retrospect 6.1 on : [color:brown]Mac OS 10.5.3 RAM : 8GO HD : 30 free CPU : 2x 2.5Ghz SCSI : ATTO PCI express UL4S Ultra 320 The backup robot is an HP MSL2024 and the drive LTO-4 1840 So, with this huge configuration Retrospect is backing up at 6mo/min !!! At this speed, it'll take a year to backup the TO. So now, I need your help, Thanks very much and sorry for my bad english.
rhwalker
Architecture? (Intel or PPC?) (if PPC, what Mac? If Intel, what Mac?) What version of Retrospect? (6.1.?) What Retrospect Driver Update version? What version of ATTO firmware? What version of ATTO driver? What is it spending all of its time doing? rhwalker
Again I ask: What version of ATTO firmware? What version of ATTO driver? You can use the ATTO's configuration tool to get this information. What is it spending all of its time doing? Um, I was referring to use of "top" or "ps axlwww".
