Restore fails with "Execution incomplete"

While doing a restore it fails with "Execution incomplete". Any advise? Is there a way to switch on extended logging so you can see why it stops?

The restore point is green. None of the available choices works:

"Their original location on c:\"

and

"The following location: Desktop\Documents\My Restored Files\Restore 1"

I did a new backup/restore succesfully so the solution actually works.

I got a feeling that I was using an older version of retropect at the time I did my backup (14/7). I have reinstalled windows and dowloaded retropect after that so it might be newer version which isn't compatible with my backup set.

Is it possible to post the previous retrospect version somewhere? I would apreciate that a lot as my photos and mp3:s are all gone for the moment...

The older version uses the exact same format as the current version. Downgrading will probably not help.

I would suggest downloading a trial to Retrospect 7.6 and do a "catalog rebuild". You can then attempt to restore the files using the 7.6 version. It also has more detailed logging which will be helpful if it still fails.
