asatnik11
Does anyone know if it is possible to do external scripting with the Mac OS X retrospect client? I would like to create a script that automatically puts the machine to sleep after a backup and this would be a good method for achieving this. It is a pity that the OS X client can not do an automatic sleep or shutdown natively; the only reason our computers run 24/7 is for them to get backed up. Thanks, Andrew Edited July 3, 2008 by Guest
rhwalker
Well, Andrew, it would be a rather simple hack to modify the existing Python script that shuts the client computer down after backup.
