cemich
Hello, I just bought Retrospect Pro 7.5. I want to send email alerts to myself regarding my backups, but I don't see anywhere where I can do that. What am I missing?
SHnee
In the left-hand navigation pane click Settings, then Preferences. You'll find Email preferences under Notifications. See also page 271 of the Users's Guide.
Ruaridh
Hi, I have Retrospect running in OS X 10.5, unlike its Windows equivalent it does not seem to have a built in email alert/notification regarding backups etc. Does anyone have a script/plug-in that could email the log without using a pre setup account in, for example, Mail.app? rhwalker
See: Retrospect Event Handler - Python We've been using it since 1992 (the ASIP version) and for several years on OS X (the Python version). Works fine. Russ
