gael49
Hi everybody, I'm trying to backup data which is stored on a Iomega NAS into Iomega Rev Disks (35/70Gb) using Retrospect Express (v 7.5, Windows XP). But I get the 1116 error (can't access network volume). I have no problem to access this directory with Windows Explorer. I tried several login/passwords which exists on the NAS, but always the same error... The backup of this network volume works fine with NtBackup, but I would prefer using Retrospect in order to compress data. Thanks for your help. Mayoff
Are you doing immediate backups or scheduled backups? When exactly to do you see the error? Are you able to add the nas to the source list during an immediate backup or does that fail?
gael49
Yes, it fails also with an immediate backup. Yesterday, I tried to add 2 subdirectorys of the NAS Volume, and it worked. But this morning, the error 1116 came back...
