chadh
I have a daily backup to disk that has been hanging when it gets to a certain file. THERE ARE NO ERRORS IN THE RETROSPECT LOG OR WINDOWS LOGS. The only way to recover is to use the task manager to close retrospect. Other backups to the same backup set work fine. The backup in question also works with a different backup set. What is happening here and how can I troubleshoot this problem when retrospect doesn't give any error messages? MRIS
try rebuilding the catalog. If this doesn't work, even after a full-on rebuild of the catalog (not just an update), then try grooming out that client completely from the backup set and trying again. chadh
After completing a full re-catalog of the backup set (~13hours). The backup completed normally. Chad
