epira
OSX Server 10.1.5 Retrospect Server 5.0.205 After 2 or 3 days doing it's job, Retrospect dosn't find the clients in the network. At this time I can't quit Retrospect anymore (exept in the terminal). To workaround this problem I told cron to restart the server once a day. This helped a lot but still sometime the backup server will not startup or will not backup my clients. Is this problem known ? or am I the only one ? rsmith
Funny you should mention that. I'm having the same problem myself. After a couple of days, the backup server application is completely dead(it's crashed out), unresponsive to being rebooted, and the Finder as a whole is more or less dead too. For the time being, we're just rebooting the server every couple of days, but it's obviously not the best way to go. It's a similar configuration to yours(OS X 10.1.5, Retrospect Server 5.205, Quicksilver 2xG4), so I'm guessing it's a common problem. Dantz, anything to say about this?
