Maverick_94
Hi, I did a backup sets transfer and I had an error "Please select the backup set member". I don't see any problem with *.RDB files, they are all in when I browse the directory... :confused2: Can you help me please ? Thanks
Mayoff
What member is it asking for? A source member or a destination member? The screen should say specifically.
Maverick_94
It's asking the source member who is reachable. Tue destination is a LTO3 tape. I can browse the RDB file. Do you need more informations ? I transfered some backup sets and I have a problem with this one only. Edited March 4, 2008 by Guest
Mayoff
If Retrospect is asking for a source member, then you may have a problem with the catalog file pointing to this source data. The best way to fix this is by performing a catalog rebuild from all members of the disk backup set.

Mayoff
Sounds like a catalog rebuild is required and will probably fix the problem.
Maverick_94
Do you mean "Repair catalog file" ? I did it and when I did a new backupset transfer, I had the same message asking me to select the backup set member... :confused2: I need to transfer datas in this backup set and I need to recycle it...how can I do that without this message ?
