Drive not recognized

Recommended Posts

I have just purchased and installed Retrospect Express HD 2.0. The reason for acquiring this software was to allow me to set up (and automate) backups of my Local Drive to an Iomega REV 70 drive.

The REV 70 is recognized by the operating system (assigned to drive letter (F))and I can copy files to it and retrieve them, using standard utilities and other applications. However, when I try to set up a backup (or a copy) using Retrospect, the list of drives under "Select the disk(s) to store your backups:" shows only Local Disk ©.

I am running Windows XP Home. Drives (D) and (E) are assigned to a DVD Drive, and a CD-RW Drive respectively.

Can anyone suggest what the problem might be?
